REDEEMER HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE CLASS TO PRESENT 'WONDERLAND HIGH'
SATURDAY - FEBRUARY 25, 2017
Holy Redeemer High School's Honors Drama/Theatre
Arts II class will perform the musical "Wonderland High"
Saturday, February 25 at 7 p.m. in the school's McCarthy Auditorium.
The musical celebrates the writing and wit of Lewis Carroll
as his characters come to life as students in a contemporary
high school. The show is being produced by students as part
of their requirements for the American Musical Theater portion
of the Honors Theatre Arts class. Students research, select,
cast and perform the show, and design and build scenery.
Seniors Casey Cryan and Artemisia Ashton and junior Francesca
Kalie are co-directors. Student choreographers are Rachel Jones
and Guilianna Alberti. Faculty moderator and musical director
is Thomas J. Hanlon, and faculty member Ann Manganiello is musical
accompanist. Faculty members Steven Wise and Linda Johnson are
assisting students with stage construction and scenery.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and
students and are available at the door.
