Senior Earns Chemistry Recognition
Senior Allison Muth was recognized by the American Chemical Society (ACS) for her performance in its annual high school chemistry competition.
Ally earned runner-up status in the Susquehanna Valley Section of the ACS for her exceptional accomplishment in her second year of chemistry. Shown are Allison Muth and Mrs. Mary Humiston, chemistry teacher.

Students Win Awards in National Latin Exam
Over 30 students at Holy Redeemer High School earned recognition for their performance in the National Latin Exam. The exam is taken by students in all 50 states and 13 foreign countries and includes Latin grammar, vocabulary, Roman history and culture.

Students Compete in Speech and Debate
Four students competed in the state championship speech and debate tournament after qualifying in district competition.
Mary Clare Materna (seated at left) was a state quarterfinalist in radio announcing and a first place winner in district competition.
Tyler Floryan and Sarah Cease competed in dramatic dup interpretation, and Devin Phillips competed in dramatic interpretation.
Grandparents’ Day Held at School
Holy Redeemer held its 2nd Annual Grandparents’ Day, hosting the grandparents of students, faculty, and staff at a special Mass and reception. The event is held to recognize the strong ties between families and their faith, and to celebrate traditions and values established by grandparents in their families and communities.
